Reformer pilates in Nilüfer: get strong from your core.

The reformer is a piece of pilates equipment made up of a sliding carriage and adjustable springs. By changing the number and tension of the springs, resistance can be adjusted to each person, so the same movement can be adapted to different experience levels. Control matters as much as tempo; the class focuses on breath, core awareness and correct execution.

Look at session length, class format (private or group), instructor guidance and a location you can get to regularly. At BAM Stüdyo, Reformer Pilates sessions last 60 minutes; private and group options are planned with our team based on current availability.

In your first class, you get to know the reformer, the springs and the basic movements. Guided by your instructor, you then move into controlled exercises. The goal isn't to compete with heavier resistance, but to learn the movement at your own level. Comfortable workout clothes are enough; ask our team before class about socks and shoes.

There's no single frequency that suits everyone. Your goals, experience, rest needs and weekly schedule are considered together. For more, take a look at our guide to reformer pilates frequency.
